About me

Since I started to code on Scratch in 2014, I've been consistently making small and big projects alike, mostly in my free time and for my own account.
I'm also a regular video-game player, usually devoted to a few creative games that allow building or logic.
Finally, I've assumed the responsibility of game master for my home party of Dungeons and Dragons, letting us run adventures within our imagination.

My main projects

Discord Bot (2020 +)

As my passion project, I regularly code and update an automated user for the Discord app.
There, I create multiple functions, most of them either used for maintenance or to enhance my D&D experience along with my friends.
This system is hosted on a Google Cloud Compute instance, managed using SSH and which also houses my own website.

Skills associated with this project:

  • Creating a complex system using Python

  • System & network administration on Linux

  • Source control and workflow using Github

  • Sanitizing and treating user input

  • Calls and retrievals using the Discord API

  • Cybersecurity, scalability and maintenance

Miliboo (Q4 2024)

In the context of a large-scale university project, our group was tasked to remake and upload a website from the ground up.
Following the existing model of 'Miliboo', an online furniture shop, we have hosted the Laravel web server and Postgres database.
Using agile development, this project aimed to fuse our abilities in a single assignment.

Skills associated with this project:

  • Creating a website using HTML and CSS

  • Hosting and routing on a Linux web server

  • Organizing a 5-man team using Github

  • Administration of a PostgreSQL database

  • Fullstack coding using PHP and Javascript

  • Familiarisation with the Laravel framework

Low Tide (Jan 2024)

This university project was the first coding assignment of our junior year, and was done in teams of 2 people in less than a month.
Our professors imposed on the WPF framework, and let us create a video-game from scratch.
This was for some of us an introduction to git workflows and software development, for which I already had first hand experience.

Skills associated with this project:

  • Creation of models and documentation

  • Developement in C#, DotNet and WPF

  • Conception, graphic design and playability

  • GitHub workflows and task distribution for 2

  • Time management and deadline compliance

  • Coding and optimisation of a game engine
